Mark Reuter
Pastor

Pastor Reuter was appointed to Foundry in June of 2003. A native of Wisconsin, he holds degrees from Mars Hill College and Duke University Divinity School. He is an ordained Elder in the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Mark began his career as a Chaplain’s Assistant in the Army Security Agency and has served churches in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Scott Davis
Assistant to the Pastor

Scott is a retired Navy chaplain. He attended seminary at Vanderbilt University and was ordained in Tennessee. Prior to ministry Scott was a disc jockey in Nashville. Before joining the Navy he served churches in Tennessee. During his Navy career he was stationed in Japan, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Georgia, Cuba and a tour on the USS Enterprise in Tidewater. He has been with Foundry since August 1998. His wife, Myra, is from Massachusetts and they have two sons.

Chris Grady
Youth Director

Chris has recently joined the Foundry staff as the youth minister. He is originally from Wichita Falls, TX. Chris and Amanda were married in 2001, and became proud parents of Brynna Grady in December, 2004. He graduated from Regent University with an M.A. in Missiology in December 2005. He has worked in many areas of ministry including youth, young adults, prisons, inner cities, as well as oversea missions.

Kathy Dziagwa
Secretary/Bookkeeper

Kathy came to us in September of 1991. She is a graduate of Kempsville High School and Princess Anne Business College. She also attended Old Dominion University. She is married with two grown sons and has lived in the Tidewater area most of her life.

Jim Edwards
Director of Music Ministries

Jim has served as a director of music ministries at Foundry since September 2002, coming on board with over 20 years experience. Jim is an active performing violinist and violist in the Hampton Roads area and has been a member of the Virginia Beach Symphony since 1997. Jim has made great strides with new music programs; the children’s choir has been incorporated into the Sunday services, a praise team and band have been formed, and the hand-bell choir has been reorganized.
